Whats in my Bag...

The whole whats in my bag thing is my favourite thing to ever come out of the interweb. Whether its a You Tube video i just love knowing what folk carry around on a day to day basis.

Now don't go looking at me like i'm a weirdo i know i'm not alone in this. I mean your here reading this ;-)

My favourtite ones to read are the real ones, not the immaculately manicured I've just bought all this stuff today and put it in my shiny new bags, but more the its been a while, I've tipped it over, and this is what i have kind.

That's what this is. Obviously I've spread it out so you can see but this is what was in my bag this morning.

So:

The bag itself is from Primark its roomy enough for all my junk, is nicely structured so it looks smart, and has a nice retro feel.

The brown Umbrella is a 'Little Brown Umbrella' from Macys that i picked up in New York a few years ago. It has a button for making it go up so it is really handy for sudden showers.

Purses; Penelope Pineapple and Mr Panda. I use one for cash and one for cards.

Cuticura Anti-bacterial gel. I picked this up because i'm going to become a proper commuter again and buses are icky (technical term there!) I got this one because it proclaimed to smell nice, it doesn't, again i find myself jealous of people with Bath and Bodyworks near them.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer folding hairbrush. Tissues from Primark.

Plane ticket from going to Birmingham last week. Bus ticket for getting to the new job this week (Scared!)

Fingerless gloves, not pretty but make using my phone easier when its cold.

Notebook and Watermelon pen. I've had the pen a LOOONNG time and it still smells of watermelon :-)

My Blackberry, the marmite of the mobile phone world. I love mine, but i do have a Sony Xperia S as well (used to take the pics on here).

Bunch of sweets, again from the trip to Birmingham.

Random receipts and Boots vouchers

Garnier Intensive 7 days hand cream (meh!)

I don't carry much makeup but i do carry lip stuff. In the mix here are:

Revlon Just bitten Kissable balm stain in Honey
Accessorize in Infatuated
Revlon Lip butter in Candly Apple
Revlon Colorburst in Blush
Blistex Medplus for lips

I'm thinking of getting a makeup bag since i'll be heading out straight from work more so maybe that will one day be a post.

Whats in your bag?

Saturday

Marshmallow Fireside

In my Most Wonderful Time of the Year post i briefly mentioned my insane jealousy of Americans and their easy access to Bath and Bodyworks and all the amazing sounding candles that are so hard to get a hold of here.

Long story short i hit eBay and a wee while later i'd ordered my first B&BW candle.

I give you Marshmallow Fireside:

I opted for a mini one as candle scents can be so subjective, and i'm particularly picky when it comes to these things. Didn't quite think it'd be this small though....kind of like a large tea light.

I cant even begin to explain how much i love this scent, it sweet but almost slightly masculine with the woody notes. It reminds me of being a kid and, well, toasting marshmallows on a fire (funny that!). I currently live in a flat in a city so opportunities to actually do this for real don't happen very often.

In short it smells incredible.

The minute i opened the package i knew that i want NEED a giant one.

Now my only problem is the price of getting on of the big ones shipped to me. eBay is uber pricey and the glimmer of hope that was bath and bodyshop doesn't have any left.

Don't suppose any American readers are feeling generous.......? ;-)

Whats your favourite candle scent?

Speaking of readers i'd like to say Hello and Welcome to my new followers, it means a lot to me that you've taken the time to follow. It also makes me feel less like i'm insanely talking to myself. I look forward to getting to know you all,x

Girl Gone Geek

I love nail polish.
Mr Panda and Penelope Pineapple
I love makeup in general.
I love Shoes.
I love shopping.
I love The Little Mermaid.
I love the penguin case for my phone.
I have jolly looking coin purses.
I love cupcakes
I take FOREVER to get ready for a night out....

and i love Sci-Fi.

Were you expecting that last one?

Not many people do.

I guess i just don't give off that vibe.

Tonight is the start of Red dwarf X in the UK and I'm really really excited. I'm also a bit nervous that its going to be a bit rubbish but I'm mostly excited.

But its not just Red Dwarf that does it for me. I have been known to plan Saturday nights around Doctor Who. I've lost entire days to watching Star Trek and entire weeks to reading the Hitchhikers series (i love this to the point where I'm planning a tattoo based on an idea from it).

The list could go on....

Anyway i think the point i should be trying to make here is something about first impressions and not judging a book by its cover but really i just wanted an opportunity to tell folk how excited i am about Red Dwarf.

Any fellow Geekettes out there?

Or have i just lost the followers i did have?

Follow @cotton_buddle for more of my random musings

Until tomorrow,

LLAP  ;-)
